The Flying Elephant Company began with stories written for the stage. But some stories ask to be carried home. Flying Elephant Books is where our stories find new life in the form of picture books and novels, allowing families to revisit the worlds and characters they have come to love.

We believe in stories that stay with you. Stories that help children name their feelings and remind grown-ups of things they once knew. Through printed works, we aim to extend the reach of our shows and deepen the impact they can have on hearts and homes.

Our first title is the picture book adaptation of Book Nooks, launching soon. More books are already on the horizon, including The Boy with the Golden Fox and others drawn from our catalogue of musicals.

Whether you’ve seen the show or not, these books are made for anyone who believes in imagination, warmth, and the power of a well-told tale.

Do you accept manuscripts?
No, we do not currently accept unsolicited manuscripts from authors.

What sort of books do you publish?
We publish the kind of stories that are perfect for a child to have read to them before bed. The sort that are full of magic and wonder.

Can I only buy your books online?
Most of the time our books are only available for purchase online and will be shipped to you directly. However, you are able to buy our books at any of our public events, such as our family musicals.

Do you sell ebooks?
Yes. We want to make our stories as accessible as possible.

How many titles do you have?
One - for now! Flying Elephant Books is still in its infancy but there are plans for multiple new titles to be added every year.
